This is Na'ima April & Katharine Zulaykha. We're continuing to hold a monthly gathering to bring our hearts together in the light and glory of Allah.

 

Please join us at Kamila Shenman's house for a monthly Sidi reading and dhikr!

 

Weekend Dhikrs 

 

Where: Kamila's house: 1307 Sequerra St., Broomfield, 80020.  

 

When: In general we'll aim to hold gatherings on one Saturday or Sunday a month from 4-6pm MDT. 

 

Dates may occasionally shift due to other commitments, but we intend to give plenty of advanced notice so folks can plan. The next four Dhikrs will be:

• Sunday, October 12, 4-6pm
• Sunday, November 2, 4-6pm
• Sunday, December 7, 4-6pm
• Sunday, January 11, 4-6pm

What: Around 4:15 we'll open with a reading from one of Sidi's books, then the traditional Shadhiliyya Sufi dhikr.  After the dhikr, we'll enjoy light snacks and tea and take time to get to know one another. If you feel inspired to share snacks or drinks, that would be great, but don't feel obligated. Come and enjoy the light and blessings of Allah.

 

Who: YOU and whomever you want - partner, kids, friends, anyone - who you think might want to experience Sidi's books and the traditional dhikr practice.

 

NOTE: Zulaykha and I will lead the Oct and Nov dhikrs, and are here to hold the space and community, but let us know if you are interested in leading a dhikr and we would be happy to put you on the schedule. With guidance from Kamila we will keep all dhikrs at her house in Broomfield but of course can gather in other ways outside of this format.
